Administrators need to plan their high availability (HA) and disaster recovery plans in order to minimize the IT disruptions on their Blue Planet servers.

Blue Planet solution supports two disaster recovery options, high availability and geographical redundancy, that provide geographical redundancy for your network servers.

The best time to install high availability and geographical redundancy using Blue Planet HA and georedundancy is during the initial installation process. Switching to HA or adding georedundancy post-installation requires additional steps and is not covered in this documentation.
