Creating services
This section describes how to use Blue Planet Orchestration to combine your virtual and physical resources to deliver services.
After you create your domain, you can create your service instance using the following instructions.

About services
A service template is associated with the built-in Blue Planet domain. The service may also include sub-resources that are managed by other domains. Most services include sub-resources from both the built-in and managed resource adapter domains.
In order to create a service for MDSO or NFVO services, you must:
-
Set up all required dependencies. This includes setting up any hardware or software requirements (such as adding required network interfaces, virtual machines, FTP directories, and so on).
-
Create a domain or domains so that the you can create a service instance. For example, some services require multiple domain creation.
This guide does not describe instructions for all services/resource adapters. For details on supported RAs, see your specific RA guide.
For details on service templates and how Blue Planet Orchestration uses them, see Definition modules.
