Blue Planet server hardware and VM requirements

The following table lists the Blue Planet server hardware and VM requirements. Requirements are based on three network environment sizes:

  • Lab development—For lab development only. A lab development server should not be used in production environments.

  • Medium production—Minimum requirements for a Blue Planet production server.

  • Large production—Recommended for large network environments.

See your Ciena account representative if you have questions about which server requirements will best meet your needs.
